Volunteer with our Churchyard Gardening and Conservation Team.
Meets 12 noon first Wednesday in the month at the Church.
Everyone is welcome to help, and you don’t have to be religious or a church goer. As long as you are fairly fit and active there’ll be something for you to do. Volunteering is a good way to keep fit and active and you don’t need any specialist skills, just enthusiasm and a willingness to help conserve nature and heritage. You’ll get the chance to be involved in a variety of conservation tasks, gaining experience and learning new skills.
If you’re unsure give us a call and leave us a message or email and we can answer your questions.

What will I be doing? Working with a group of other volunteers helping to make & keep our Churchyard beautiful. This may mean weeding, pruning bushes and shrubs, cutting back overgrown vegetation, general maintenance and tidying.
Do I need to bring anything with me? Enthusiasm, a good pair of gardening gloves, secateurs, shears and other small gardening tools would be useful. We have a store of larger gardening equipment. Refreshments provided, but bring a water bottle
